Sorry, your browser is not Java enabled, you will not be able to chat.


Here is how to enable Java in several of the most popular browsers:

(Unfortunately, some browsers, such as Opera and the early AOL browser versions, simply do not support Java and cannot use the chat room.)

For Netscape 2.x browsers:

Click on the Options menu in the Title bar.
Click on Security Preferences.
Click on the General tab.
Make sure the Disable Java and Disable JavaScript checkboxes are NOT checked.
Click the OK button and "reload".

For Netscape 3.x browsers:

Click on the Options menu in the Title bar.
Click on Network Preferences.
Click on the Languages tab.
Make sure that the Enable Java and Enable JavaScript checkboxes ARE checked.
Click the OK button and "reload".

For Netscape 4.x browsers:

Click on the Edit menu in the Title bar.
Click on Prefrences selection.
Click on Advanced.
The right side of the dialog should change to reflect the Advanced Preferences.
At the very top, there is a list of six check boxes.
Make sure the second (Enable Java) and third (Enable JavaScript) ARE checked.
Click on the OK button and "reload".

For Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0:

Click on the View menu in the Title bar.
Click on Options.
Click on Security.
Make sure the Enable Java Programs box is checked.
Click onAdvanced
Make sure the Enable Java JIT Compiler box is checked.
Click OK and "reload".

For Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher:

Click on the View menu in the Title bar.
Click on Options.
Click on Advanced
Make sure the Enable JAVA JIT Compiler and Enable JAVA Logging boxes are checked
Click on the SECURITY tab
Make sure the Enable JAVA Programs box is checked.
Click OK and "reload".
