My Salem loved taking walks with me, loved the tall grass
outdoors, loved belly rubs, he was scared of farts, he loved to
lay on my grandmas bed and make biscuits on my blankets. He was
quite the gentleman. Our little man of the house. My heart is full
of all our good memories.

2006 - February 28, 2022
Monday, February 28, 2022 at 1:15p I said goodbye to my little
furry family member Scooter. From the time he came into my life as
a six month old puppy and all the times in between until the time
I held him in my arms as he took his last breaths, he brought so
much love and joy into my life. He was such a bright spot every
day and especially on my most dark days. So independent, so
stubborn and grumpy at times (like his human mom) but to the
family, friends and fur babies that Scooter let into his little
circle, he really showed them his special Scooter way of love.
To say goodbye to him was one of the hardest things I ever had to
do. Even after two years have passed, my heart still breaks and I
shed tears still missing that little munchkin. My house is still
so empty and quiet without him. Loving Scooter changed my life and
losing him did the same.
I had six other dogs over the years, but Scooter was such a
special one since I was retired and we shared every day adventures
together. He came into my life at six months old as a foster dog.
I knew those first few days he was with me that there was no
better family than me for him. From six months old until our
goodbyes at 15 1/2 years old, Scooter was my best friend, constant
companion and made my heart and home complete. We grew old
together. Always by my side. Each day I am trying to learn 'not'
to live without him, but to live with the love and memories he
left behind. I so loved Scooter his whole life and will miss him
the rest of mine.

My fury baby Shomi, you were the light of my days. You enlightened
my path every time your green eyes looked at me. When you woke up
every morning it was like seeing the sun arise in the room. Even
your fur was the same color as a lion, as the sun. Mi gatito Shomi
era vivaz, locuaz y muy inteligente. Le gustaba planear grandes
emboscadas y bromas contra sus hermanos gatitos. Te voy a extrañar
mucho mi gatito precioso. Voy a extrañar mirarte tendido panza
arriba a los rayos del sol entrando por la ventana de la sala.
Gatito Grozni te cuidará y te mostrará el camino al Cielo.
Espérame allí chiquito mío, que cuando me toque ir para allá
necesitaré la lucesita de tus ojos para guiarme hasta ti. Te amaré
y recordaré siempre mi bello gatito, mi güerejito lindo! Siempre
serás la luz de mi corazón 🤎

Solita Mi Amor, eres la razon de mi vida,como voy a poder
continuar sin ti. Dormir juntas, ver tus ojitos, acariciarte. Por
12 años nunca te deje en manos de nadie asumí ser tu mama en cada
momento.
